MTM Case: this case is designed to carry three cornetti comfortably, and will also accommodate an alto cornett or a mute cornett in F.
The case offers the ultimate protection to your instruments and is the one that Jeremy West has used for more than a decade, carrying his cornetts to and from more than 30 countries and right around the world in the process. This is indeed the only instrument case that Jeremy has found safe to check in with airlines (at times of airport high security when hand luggage is severely restricted) and it has even been "lost" for several days at London's Heathrow Airport (notorious for indelicate baggage handling) with no impact whatever on its rather special and valuable contents.
The case is fitted with a "lip" to prevent rainwater penetrating (quite significant in wet climates), has two locks, and is supplied with a high quality shoulder strap. The lid and base are thickly
padded and covered in green plush material, with no preformed compartments; this way the space inside the case retains the flexibility to carry different instruments on different occasions.
