Cornett Mouthpieces
Resin mouthpieces
NDA mouthpiece: (acorn type) JW's recommendation This mouthpiece will be appropriate to non trumpet players and to trumpet players who wish to try something that's more historically appropriate than the bigger cup TTL
inside dia:14.4 ~ depth:5.5 ~ outside dia:18.0 rim width: 1.96
NDA or TTL? if you are unsure about this, take the NDA. Historically it is more correct than the larger TTL which really is a compromise trumpet type mouthpiece to help serious trumpet player to feel at home on the cornett. If you are a serious trumpet player but wish to try something more "authentic" then you would do well to consider taking both mouthpieces: order one as included in the price and then add the other as an extra. For the small additional cost you will have the luxury then of being able to find your way without pressure.

TTM mouthpiece
This mouthpiece will be of interest to the trumpet player who is ready to take cornett playing to a higher level. Thinner rimmed and rather shallower than the TTL this mouthpiece aids a focussed and vocal sound dia:13.8 ~ depth:7.0 ~ outside dia:21.8 ~ rim width: 3.0 |
